Yeah it would suck but at least they would still be playing the game.

Those in unsupported countries should have never been able to buy the game officially at least anyways. I'm sure PC gamers would find some "way" to play either way

Yeah, or just sell it only in said compatible countries and make a pan account a requirement…. Cos I think the dev even pointed out that it was in Sonys official faq that it said the pan account was optional.

The one big draw back is that Sony doesn’t allow accounts to be created using a vpn and it’s banable (ban-able?) offense. I had my account banned cos I used my email to make another account for my niece and I forgot I had used said email already

Yay, The Divers won. It was hard to watch some gamers actually support Sony's terrible decision to alienate their largest fanbase for this game, but also confusing and laughable at the same time.
