I thought Certain Affinity were doing like a Battle Royal sort of content? No chance we see an actual new Halo game anytime soon IMO....unless it is a different genre, like Halo Wars.
Rumor is the Battle Royale from Certain Affinity grew into something else, but who knows.

Yeah... xbox is in such a weird moment right now... I feel there's very little faith in anything they do or say atm. I always felt Phil to be trustful (as much as someone in that type of position can be), but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if just about anything he says or promise right now could change in a coin flip.

I really don’t know who to blame. He’s a legit player, he worked on games as a dev, so he has personal insight on what they do. But in the end he’s an exec, it might not been entirely his call, someone above his pay grade and, well, shareholders want to see green. I want to believe he did push back and this could’ve been worse. Kinda like in sports, your coach or manager is the face, making the ground level choices with the team (like the Lakers or Manchester), but they have leadership above them that handle everything else. In the end they’re just a division in a giant corporation, and corporations are living entities without soul or heart. Today is a sad day, filled with emotions and heartbreak that will affect many in many ways, big and small and it all just sucks.

Hi-Fi was a banger. It has a higher meta critic score than most recent big triple a titles. I wonder if the new jet set radio will get a similar score or higher because of nostalgia alone with the IP. I was going somewhere with this but I lost track
